PCT

Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) is a protocol followed after a cycle of anabolic steroids, SARMs, or other performance-enhancing compounds to help restore the body’s natural hormone production. When exogenous hormones are introduced into the body, the natural production of testosterone is suppressed, and PCT is designed to stimulate the body’s own hormonal system back to normal function. Common PCT compounds include Nolvadex (Tamoxifen), Clomid (Clomiphene), and HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin), all of which work by signaling the pituitary gland to resume natural testosterone production.

Without a proper PCT protocol, individuals risk prolonged testosterone suppression, which can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, depression, loss of muscle mass, low libido, and hormonal imbalance. The length and intensity of a PCT protocol typically depends on the compounds used, the duration of the cycle, and the degree of suppression experienced. While PCT compounds are sometimes available without a prescription, they are pharmaceutical drugs that carry their own side effects and should ideally be used under medical supervision. A proper PCT is widely considered an essential part of any responsible performance-enhancing compound cycle.
